What do Zeroblue glasses actually do?
Zeroblue glasses work by blocking the harmful light coming from your devices, which can disrupt your sleep.
Can't I just use my device's night light?
While the night light mode on your devices does prevent some blue light from being emitted, this can very between each device and is usually between 30% to 80%. This does not cover the range of light that can disrupt your sleep.
Do they actually work?
Numerous studies have associated amber lenses with improvements in sleep outcomes in individuals with sleep disorders. These include:
- Wearing blue light-blocking glasses in the evening advances circadian rhythms in patients with delayed sleep phase disorder (DSPD)
- Blocking nocturnal blue light for insomnia: A randomized controlled trial
- Effect of evening blue light blocking glasses on subjective and objective sleep in healthy adults: A randomized control trial
How does blue and green light effect sleep?
Melatonin is a hormone your brain releases in response to darkness, signalling the body that it's time to sleep. Blue and green light exposure at night supresses its production, delaying sleep onset - which is the core problem Zeroblue glasses are designed to address.
What makes Zeroblue glasses different?
Unlike normal blue light glasses, Zeroblue glasses have the most powerful lenses blocking 100% between 380-560nm, have wide wraparound lenses, high coverage temples, and a foam gasket to maximise protection. In addition we use lightweight, durable materials ideal for wearing for hours at a time.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Most orders will arrive within 3 to 7 business days of dispatch. Delivery can take a little longer for regional and remote areas and during busy periods.

What sources of light are harmful?

These can include:
- TV's
- Smartphones
- iPads and tablets
- Normal room lighting
- Monitors
- Laptops
- Any LED lighting
- Light bulbs
- Lamps
Will they fit over readers or prescription lenses?
Zeroblue glasses aren't designed to fit over prescription eyewear or reading glasses, we're actively working on reading and prescription lens options for availability in the near future.
Do you ship globally?
Yes, we ship globally but currently only offer free shipping Australia wide.
Can I wear Zeroblue glasses during the day?
We advise against using our glasses during the day. Our glasses block 100% of light between 380-560nm, and when the light in this range is blocked your brain thinks it's night time which can leave you feeling tired and drowsy during the day. Blue light during the day boosts alertness, attention, and cognitive function - at the time it's supposed to. It only becomes an issue when this happens at night time - when you want to wind down and fall asleep.
